Elton Brand doesnt look like the player the sixers thought they were gonna get when they signed him and hes being outplayed by Marreese Speights. The sixers might be better off playing Speights, Young, Kapono, Iguodala and Lou Williams as its main five guys.

The 76ers suffered a huge blow when Speights went down, now we can really get to see what Elton Brand can do or cant do at this point, the pressure is on for him to start earning that big money.

Can Elton Brand stay healthy? Can Brand return to form and provide the inside scoring the 76ers need? Acquring Jason Kapono this summer helped address the teams lack of a shooter, the 76ers finsihed last in field goal percentage last season. The sixers will miss the leadership and direction Andre Miller brought the team, Lou Williams now has to prove it was a wise move to let him go. New coach Eddie Jordan’s princeton offense should provide lots of open oppurnities this season. This team is young, long and athletic and if healthy could make some noise in the east this season.
